GEORGE TOWN: As the fear of Covid-19 sweeps the state again and the Tawar cluster causing the third generation of infections in Penang, the mornings are now unusually quiet in the “rich man’s market” of Pulau Tikus.

Penangites give the market that nickname because of the plethora of premium and expensive fresh produce there, and what have been missing lately are most of the “rich” customers.
