PETALING JAYA: Police are investigating a shop assistant in Sungai Way for possible links to liquor smuggling syndicates after illicit beverages were found in a storeroom in a sundry shop there.

Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal said police found and confiscated 264 cans of beer and 598 bottles of liquor in a raid on Monday (Aug 17).
