GEORGE TOWN: Island Hospital in Penang says only five out of 22 foreign patients who applied to come to the state for medical treatment had been given approval.
In a statement on Tuesday (Aug 18), the hospital said one died while making travel arrangements, while another became too sick to travel and only three from Indonesia – two of whom are fighting advanced cancer – made it to Penang.
