PUTRAJAYA: Reducing the RM1,000 compound for those not wearing face masks in public may encourage more people to flout the law, says Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
The Senior Minister (Security) said the government would stick with its decision to issue compounds of RM1,000 to those caught not wearing masks in crowded areas, which was made mandatory on August 1.
