PUTRAJAYA: The Health Ministry has updated the MySejahtera app to allow group check-ins, which is meant to speed up the required Covid-19 standard operating procedures at premises.
Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said that a user can add their family members under the “Add Dependents” section in the the latest update of the app, which is currently in its 24th version.
“Under the ‘Others’ section in the MySejahtera app, the user needs to click ‘Add Dependents’ to include the details of their family members.
“For individuals who want to check-in other individuals, you can pick names that have been registered with the app. There are no limits for the number of names that an individual can register as dependents, ” said Dr Noor Hisham in a statement on Monday (Aug 18).
He said the function can be used by all those with the MySejahtera app to check-in at all premises that have the facilities.
Under the recovery movement control order, members of the public are required to check-in before entering premises and buildings either using apps like MySejahtera or by recording their contact details manually.
