PETALING JAYA: Discussions were held to improve the livelihoods of all transport-related groups, including taxi drivers, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.
In a Facebook post on Friday (Aug 14), the Transport Minister said a meeting was held with Land Public Transport Agency (APAD) director-general Azlan Shah Al Bakri and the Prime Minister’s political secretary Azlinda Abdul Latiff over the matter.
“We looked into ways to improve the well-being, safety, and protect the livelihoods of taxi drivers nationwide, including in Sabah and Sarawak.
“The government is committed to ensuring that all transport-related groups are not left behind and is working alongside the Prime Minister's Office to improve public transport services, ” said Dr Wee.
