Couple nabbed after removing quarantine wristbands to buy groceries


KUALA PERLIS (Bernama): A married couple who removed their Covid-19 quarantine wristbands to go buy groceries out of the targeted enhanced movement control order (MCO) area were arrested on Wednesday (Aug 12).

Kangar district police chief Supt Wari Kiew said the husband, aged 54 and his 65-year-old wife were nabbed at Jalan Simpang Empat-Kuala Sanglang roadblock while riding a motorcycle back home to Kampung Kuala Sanglang at 3.30pm.
