Negri Sembilan records 31.3% spike in dengue cases


SEREMBAN (Bernama): Dengue cases in Negri Sembilan recorded an increase of 31.3 per cent to 1,903 cases from January to Aug 1, compared to 1,449 cases reported in the same period last year.

State Health, Environment, Cooperatives and Consumerism Committee chairman, S. Veerapan said Seremban recorded the highest number of dengue cases at 1,632, followed by Port Dickson (68), Rembau (59), Jempol (52), Tampin (48), Jelebu (25 ) and Kuala Pilah (19).
