AG denies Malaysia stopping legal action against Int'l Petroleum Investment in UK courts

PETALING JAYA: The government is not halting its lawsuit to challenge a previous settlement with the International Petroleum Investment Corporation (IPIC) in the United Kingdom, says Tan Sri Idrus Harun (pic).

The Attorney General confirmed that there has been no action taken to cease the court proceedings in London towards IPIC to undo a settlement agreement entered into by the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) and Abu Dhabi's IPIC in 2017.
