PETALING JAYA: There are no changes in the fuel prices for RON95 and RON97 for the Aug 1-7 period with the price of RON95 and RON97 remaining at RM1.68/l and RM1.98/l respectively.
The price of diesel will however go up by one sen to RM1.83/l, says the Finance Ministry on Friday (July 31).
"The government will continue to monitor the trends of global crude oil prices and take appropriate measures to ensure the continued welfare and well-being of the people," it said.
The weekly fuel pricing mechanism was reintroduced on Jan 5,2019, under the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM).
Under this system, fuel prices are announced every Friday and remain in force for one week.
