High Court fixes Aug 28 to deliver decision on Sri Ram's recusal from Najib's cases


KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court here has fixed Aug 28 to deliver the decision in an application by Datuk Seri Najib Razak and Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah to recuse Datuk Seri Gopal Sri Ram from leading the prosecution in their cases.

Sri Ram, a former federal court judge, is leading the prosecution in Najib’s 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB)-linked cases and Shafee’s money laundering case relating to two charges involving RM9.5mil.
