PETALING JAYA: It was supposed to be a short drive home. But what was meant to be a routine 15-minute trip turned into a nightmare for Lean Ming Yi when he got trapped in the luxury car he was driving after a flash flood hit.

Lean was driving back from lunch to his aunt’s home in Ara Damansara on a rainy afternoon when, without warning, he found his car being gradually submerged in a flash flood, trapping him inside.
