KUCHING: DAP's Padungan assemblyman Wong King Wei has quit the party with immediate effect, citing disillusionment with the party's direction and management.
He also said he would not defend his seat in the coming state election and would serve as an independent assemblyman until the dissolution of the Sarawak Legislative Assembly.
