GEORGE TOWN: The Penang Fishermen Association is happy the Federal Government is heeding the plight of its members on the impact of the controversial Penang South Reclamation (PSR) project on their livelihood and the environment.
Association chairman Mahadi Mat Rodzi said it was a relief to hear the announcement in Parliament yesterday that the project would not be given the green light until its Environment Management Plan (EMP) had been approved.
