KUALA LUMPUR: Drug addiction should be decriminalised because it involved mainly first-time offenders who are youths, says former Youth and Sports minister Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman (pic).
The Muar MP said statistics by the National Anti-Drugs Agency (AADK) have shown that more than 80% of those caught with drug offences consist of Malays aged between 19 and 39.
