KOTA BARU: Four new Fire and Rescue stations are needed in Chiku (Gua Musang), Laloh (Kuala Krai), Kok Lanas and Pantai Cahaya Bulan (Kota Bharu) to reduce response time in the event of emergencies, especially fires, said Kelantan Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) director Md Salleh Sarbini.
“So far, response time to attend to fires in less than 10 minutes in the first six months of 2020 has increased by 8.24% to 63.44% from 55.2% over the same period last year.
