Cops have arrested more than 3,000 so far this year in anti-vice operations

KUALA LUMPUR: The police have arrested more than 3,000 people in operations to shut down illegal gambling and prostitution up until July 19 this year.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Seri Mazlan Lazim said police raided more than 5,000 premises between Jan 1 and July 19 under Op Dadu to combat online gambling and other illegal gambling activities conducted through call centres or on-premises.
