PUTRAJAYA: Authorities recorded full compliance among Malaysians required to undergo home quarantine upon returning from overseas, says Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob (pic).

The Senior Minister (Security) said that police made 1,365 checks on Sunday (July 19) to see if those who were ordered to undergo home quarantine had fully complied with the order.

"Police reported full compliance among those that they monitored," he said on Monday (July 20).

Ismail Sabri said that on July 19, one of the 1,062 who returned to Malaysia tested positive for Covid-19 and was sent to hospital.

Between June 10 to July 19, a total of 22,076 individuals entered the country via Kuala Lumpur International Airport and KLIA2.

Seventy-eight of the returnees were tested positive for Covid-19.
