Company to be questioned over coat of arms issue


KUALA LUMPUR: The management and officials of a shoe company will be called up by Bukit Aman after it was alleged to have printed the Malaysian coat of arms or “Jata Negara” on the inside lining.

Bukit Aman CID deputy director Deputy Comm Mior Faridalatrash Wahid said the police have started investigation under Section 5(1) of the Emblems and Names (Prevention of Improper Use) Act as well as Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act.
