Group slams varsity for not reporting harassment case to cops


PETALING JAYA: The University of Malaya Association of New Youth (Umany) has hit out at the university management for not lodging a police report against a senior lecturer for his alleged involvement inw a sexual harassment case involving a student.

The student group said the university’s failure to report the matter to the police was tantamount to a cover-up for the sake of the institution’s reputation.
