PETALING JAYA: The oldest among Generation Z – those who are now in their early 20s – want to embrace life with high hopes and dreams but uncertainties stemming from the Covid-19 pandemic are forcing them to rethink their goals and career paths.

For student Lee Jiaw Wah, the movement control order (MCO) period has led her to reassess the five-year accountancy course she is taking, feeling that it is consuming too much of her time which could be better spent on gaining work experience.
