KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court has denied an application by Datuk Seri Najib Razak to be exempted from the 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) trial on Thursday (July 16) to attend Parliament.
Najib’s lead counsel Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah on Wednesday (July 15) informed the court that his client, the Pekan MP, was scheduled to speak in Parliament.
