KAJANG: The police have arrested a man who is believed to have raped and prostituted his teenage daughter.

The 43-year-old odd-job worker has been remanded for seven days until July 20 to help with investigations into the case.

Selangor CID chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Fadzil Ahmat said police also arrested five foreigners who are suspected of paying for sexual favours with the man's 13-year-old daughter.

"We are continuing our search for other suspects who are still at large," he said, adding that anyone with information on the case can contact the nearest police station.

The case is being investigated for incest and prostitution under Sections 376B and 372 of the Penal Code as well as offences under Section 43 of the Child Act 2001.

The man's alleged crimes came to light when the teenager's aunt lodged a police report on July 11.

Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Zaid Hassan said the girl had been allegedly raped since she was 10 and was also forced to have sex with around 20 customers.
