Mechanic cheated of RM132,827 by numbers syndicate


KEPALA BATAS: A mechanic has been cheated RM132,827 by two men, believed to be part of a numbers prediction fraud syndicate.

North Seberang Prai OCPD Asst Comm Noorzainy Mohd Noor said the victim from Bandar Baharu, Kedah, was told that he won a four-digit lottery worth RM1.8mil and was requested to make payment to a “sifu” before he could claim his money.
