AG Report: Smuggling of people, goods along M'sian border still happening due to enforcement weaknesses

PUTRAJAYA: Smuggling of goods and undocumented immigrants along Malaysia’s land border is still happening despite security and enforcement activities, according to the Auditor-General’s Report.

The management of security control and enforcement at border areas has not reached optimum efficiency with several weaknesses that need to be rectified, read the report.
