KOTA KINABALU: A police corporal was charged at the Sessions Court here for allegedly asking and receiving bribes as an inducement to not take action against two illegal immigrants two years ago.
Margani Arpah, 55, was accused of committing the offences on Aug 22, 2018, behind a police beat base in the city. He pleaded not guilty to three charges before judge Abu Bakar Manat.
