Govt seeks to amend forfeiture notice from Low’s dad

KUALA LUMPUR: The government is seeking to amend a forfeiture notice issued against Tan Sri Larry Low Hock Peng, the father of fugitive businessman Low Taek Jho (pic), in its bid to recoup more than RM48mil said to be linked to 1Malaysia Development Bhd from Low’s accounts.

The High Court granted the government’s application to forfeit the money in July last year after Low did not show up in court to challenge the forfeiture.
