ALOR GAJAH: Police ambushed a rave birthday bash at a villa in Pulau Sebang here and arrested 37 individuals, including three Indonesian women.
Alor Gajah OCPD Supt Arshad Abu described the bash as a "wild" one with drug abuse among the revellers.
He said those who were detained in the 12.50am raid Sunday (July 5) had also violated the recovery movement control order (MCO).
"We are investigating the case under various sections of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952," he said.
Supt Arshad said all 37 tested positive for drugs.
Those detained are aged between 20 and 43.
Supt Arshad said police also confiscated, among others, 14 Ecstasy pills and one bottle allegedly filled with ketamin weighing about 4.4g.
"All of them have been remanded," he added.
