Awarded RM5mil in court, father just wants bedridden son to walk and talk again

MELAKA: A 46-year-old father from Alor Gajah here is still harbouring hope that his bedridden son will walk and talk again, shortly after winning millions of ringgit in a court battle.

The father, who only wanted to be known as Chia, was awarded close to RM5mil by the Kuala Pilah Sessions court in Negri Sembilan on Friday (July 3) as compensation for an accident on Jan 9,2018, which left his eldest son in a vegetative state.
