KUALA LUMPUR: An Umno minister is disagreeing with the party’s deputy president over the calling for a general election, saying there is no need for snap polls.
“There is no need to call for snap polls as the government needs to focus on resolving issues affecting the rakyat first,” said Federal Territories Minister Tan Sri Annuar Musa, who is also Barisan Nasional secretary-general.
