Two acquitted of negligence in lawnmower death of student

SEREMBAN: The Sessions Court here acquitted and discharged the proprietors of two companies without calling for their defence for alleged negligence in the death of a 14-year-old student and injuries sustained by her two schoolmates.

Judge Muhammad Zaki Abdul Kudos ruled that the prosecuton failed to establish a prima facie case against Mohd Yusof Ismail, 70, the owner and employer at MI Yusof Enterprise, and Hishamudin Rais, 53, a director at Hisham Rais Sdn Bhd.
