IPOH: Ipoh City Council wants to hear from the people on ideas to make the city better.

City councillor Prof Richard Ng said the city council is looking into a wide range of topics and welcomes any suggestions to improve the lives of the people and develop the city further.

"Among the topics the city council wanted to hear included how to create jobs via technical and vocational education and training (TVET) programmes and to help the urban poor, homeless and the B40 group.

"Other topics included on improving the economy, environment, cleanliness, infrastructure, safety and health," he said when contacted.

Ng, who is Ipoh City Watch president, said he would reach out to the non-governmental organisations for their suggestions.

"Ideas that are good will be tabled during the full board meeting next week.

"Those with suggestions can forward to me via WhatsApp at 012-5256252 or email me at richng8888@gmail.com," he said.
