Congregational prayers now allowed at all mosques, surau in Penang

GEORGE TOWN: Penang has allowed all mosques and surau to conduct the compulsory congregational prayer beginning Wednesday (June 24).

Penang Islamic Religious Council president Datuk Ahmad Zakiyuddin Abd Rahman said that Friday prayers will also be allowed starting June 26 and Hari Raya Aidiladha prayers on July 31.
