Nomination begins for Chini by-election under 'new normal'

PEKAN (Bernama): As the nomination process for the Chini state seat by-election gets underway here from 8am Saturday (June 20), it will make Malaysian electoral history as the first election to take place in the "new normal", with the Covid-19 threat lurking in the background.

Chini one of the four state seats under the Pekan parliamentary constituency, which is held by former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
