Lawyer: Court hasn't decided on fate of Tun M and Co despite dismissal of ad interim bid

Tun Mahathir counsel Mohamed Haniff Khatri Abdulla

KUALA LUMPUR: Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and five other Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) leaders have applied for an ad interim (temporary) order at the High Court on Thursday (June 18) as there was not enough time to submit affidavits regarding the actual interim injunction in relation to the main suit that challenges their nullification of their party memberships.

Dr Mahathir's lawyer Mohamed Haniff Khatri Abdulla said the interim injunction application could not be heard and had to be adjourned because the defendants needed time to put in their affidavits.
