KOTA KINABALU: Three Filipinos arrested in Sabah’s east coast sea border of Tambisan Island in Lahad Datu have been cleared of suspicions that they were part of the Abu Sayyaf’s cross-border kidnap group.
After thorough investigations, it was found that the three civilians had no affiliation with the terror group, said Philippine Armed Forces commander for Western Mindanao Command Lt-Gen Cirilito Sobejana.
