IPOH: As part of the Ipoh City Council’s efforts to curb illegal and indiscriminate dumpsites, Ipoh is considering taking litterbugs to court to face stiffer penalties, says the mayor.
Datuk Rumaizi Baharin said the maximum compound of RM1,000 was not deterring some people from throwing rubbish, including commercial waste, wherever they liked.
