Belated ‘balik kampung’ exodus: Increased traffic expected from June 12-14, says Ismail Sabri

PETALING JAYA: Police are anticipating higher traffic volume on highways, major roads across the country from June 12 to 14 as people are taking the opportunity to return to kampungs in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations.

Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob reminded travellers to follow all the standard operating procedures set under the recovery movement control order (MCO) as it has been gazetted under the law.
