FILM director Ahmad Idham Ahmad Nadzri, who was recently reappointed as National Film Development Corporation (Finas) Malaysia chief executive, is determined to revive the film industry which has been severely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, Berita Harian reported.

Noting that the government had allowed the industry to resume operations even before the recovery phase of the movement control order (MCO), Ahmad Idham said they also needed to resolve issues involving distribution and closed cinemas.
