L’Oreal partners Lazada in three-day online beauty marathon starting June 3


L’OREAL Group, the world’s biggest beauty company, will be bringing beauty back with an exclusive three-day online beauty marathon event in collaboration with Lazada from June 3-5, packed with never seen before deals (including buy one, take one offers) on bestselling products from iconic brands L’Oreal Paris, Maybelline and Garnier – celebrating beauty and encouraging women to be beauty ready in the new normal.

The concept of Back To Beauty is to get women ready to feel beautiful, empowered and confident again, as the world gradually returns from lockdown.

L’Oreal will be supporting all women as they embrace new social moments with beauty rituals such as at-home skin treatments and rocking the perfect makeup look while wearing a mask.

The three-day event will include round-the-clock exciting activities including livestreaming, games, beauty augmented reality, and surprise flash sales.

During this Back To Beauty campaign, we will be showcasing livestream tutorials and creative look inspiration to help everyone creatively express themselves no matter if they’re staying indoors or heading out” said Karan Kansal, L’Oreal Consumer Division E-Commerce Director for APAC.

As we face a new normal of social distancing, mass telecommuting, and enhanced medical screening, beauty tech and ecommerce have never been more crucial and important.

Being the powerhouses in their respective fields, Lazada and L’Oreal join forces to be at the forefront to serve the needs of consumers.

Lazada is the ecommerce leader across six markets while L’Oreal is the world’s biggest beauty company and a leading driver of beauty tech that provides innovative tech solutions such as augmented reality-based beauty solutions like Modiface and Perso.

The partnership between Loreal and Lazada started in 2015 and together they have built and set the standards of beauty in the ecommerce space in South-East Asia.

“Lazada was our first ecommerce partner we worked with in South-East Asia and we have introduced new digital beauty experiences like augmented reality ‘virtual try-on’ to our consumers together.

“It was natural to continue our partnership during these unprecedented times as L’Oreal looked for dedicated solutions to create more content to increase consumer engagement and ensure shoppers were able to continue to purchase their favourite products through safe and convenient channels, ” said Kansal.
