Two MPs in quarantine still unnamed

PETALING JAYA: The identities of two Members of Parliament who are said to be undergoing quarantine for Covid-19 have remained a mystery.

The two MPs were believed to have come into close contact with Covid-19 suspects.

Their status was not known until Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah revealed on Sunday that two MPs did not attend a Covid-19 screening session for yesterday’s Parliament sitting as they are currently observing quarantine.

MPs were required to undergo the test to attend the opening of the third session of the 14th Parliament yesterday.

Dr Noor Hisham did not provide the names of the MPs concerned.

A total of 960 people, including MPs and staff working in Parliament House, went for the test and all tested negative.
