ALOR SETAR: Eight individuals under investigation by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) were given a seven-day remand by the Alor Setar Magistrate’s Court here Thursday (May 14).
State MACC director Datuk Shaharom Nizam Abd Manap said the suspects were arrested for submitting fictitious claims over the supply of machine parts worth a total of over US$43,000 (RM186,000) between August 2019 to October 2019.
