PETALING JAYA: New York-based Mount Sinai Covid Informatics Centre researchers have discovered that blood thinners may improve the chances of survival of Covid-19 patients.
They reported in the May 6 issue of the Journal of the American College of Cardiology that treating hospitalised Covid-19 patients with anticoagulants — that is, blood thinners that slow down clotting — may improve their chances of survival.
