Two in one: Cops bust forgery gang after cracking down on beer smugglers


KUALA LUMPUR: The detection of a beer smuggling syndicate active in the Klang Valley led to police busting another syndicate dealing in forged stamp duties, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) documents and Malaysian visas.

Federal Internal Security and Public Order director Comm Datuk Seri Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani said a team from their Intelligence and Special Investigations Division launched the operations in Kajang on Wednesday (May 6) and arrested nine Malaysians and eight Myanmar nationals aged between 24 and 51.
