MIRI: A native villager from a remote settlement in northern Sarawak has surrendered a sunbear cub that he claimed to have "found" in the forest.
The villager from Long Livok, Sungai Layun, in the Ulu Baram district, gave up the two week-old sunbear cub to the Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC) on the advice of Telang Usan assemblyman Dennis Ngau.
