JOHOR BARU: The application to extend the five-day remand period for the Rohingya refugee who calls himself “Long Tiger” has been rejected by the Muar Magistrate’s Court.
The 31-year-old suspect, however, was arrested again after a new case was reported at the Tangkak district police headquarters under Section 388 of the Penal Code for extortion, said Johor police chief Comm Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay.
