Cyclists urged to stay at least 20m apart

GEORGE TOWN: Cyclists should keep a social distance of at least 20m apart instead of between 1m and 2m to avoid any cough droplets from those riding ahead of them, says G Club Penang Cyclists chairman Datuk Dr Lim Seh Guan.

“According to a study done in Belgium, they found that the air droplets discharged or coughed by cyclists could stay in the air for over 0.5 seconds before they settle on the ground.
