MELAKA: Some 200 long-serving hotel staff are now jobless after two pioneer hotels in the historic city shut its doors permanently. National Union of Hotel, Bar and Restaurant Workers Peninsular Malaysia secretary-general Rosli Affandi said some of them have been with the hotels for almost 30 years.
