S’gor police note spike in cyberscams during MCO


SHAH ALAM: Police have noticed a spike in cyberscams during the movement control order (MCO) period, which started on March 18.

“Despite an overall dip in the crime index, police have received 29% more reports on online scams from April 1-27, compared to the same period last year, ” said Selangor Covid-19 special spokesman Asst Comm Muhammad Yazid Muhammad Yew.
