Game over: The men covering their faces after being caught for gambling at a barber shop in Jelutong.
GEORGE TOWN: After several days’ of surveillance of suspected gamblers in a barber shop in Jelutong, the police arrested eight men, including the shop owner.They tried to run away but the police surrounded the shop in the 2am raid yesterday.
Penang CID chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Zainol Samah said the arrest was headed by Anti-Vice, Gambling and Secret Societies Division (D7) personnel from the state police headquarters.
